blind guess: Wave-particle duality and string thoery

Have you guys ever imagined this? If you use a clipper to cut a waving thread to many segments, you discretize the same whole waving thread to different seperating segments. Haha, string theory may be like this. Although I don’t understand the formulas of string theory and Schrodinger (yet, but I means or implies nothing). I’d like to give some wild guess and imagination here.

When a particle is in wave state, the wave of this particle may be a part of or connecting to a whole wave, and the wave of this particle includes different overlaping possible states of this particle. When this particle in wave state is discretized or collapsed, the wave of this particle may be just seperated from the whole wave which it belongs to or connects to, and the wave of this particle becomes a string of 1/2/3 dimentions and this string of this particle is a discretized part of the whole wave.

A particle in this whole wave may have some different characteristics from the seperate discretized string of this particle. For example, tow entangled particles may be just like two ends of a mechanical spring and the spring is like the whole wave, and when you press one end, the force will tranmit immediately to the other end, which means the whole wave (or some medium) may have much higher tranmitting speed even than light.

I got this crazy guess, because I can’t help thinking that: waves can pass through and overlap with each other like water, electromagnetice, sound wave or any other wave, and particles may collide with each other, so what more difference is there between wave and particle and how can we switch matters between wave state and particle state?

My blind guesses are just for extension of mind, and they have big chance to be wrong, so just have its fun, haha.
